Saturday coffee and croissants at Cafe Madeleine in South Park.
Ingenious book tree at Graffiti Beach (also in South Park).
I’m the last design-minded person on planet Earth to get this gem. Most people consider the Domino book to be the bible of design and decor, but I personally love Design Sponge at Home.
Spent Saturday night in, working on assignments, getting my ducks in a row before leaving for India (a week from today!) and helping Eaman with various aspects of his soon-to-be-launched company. My heart melted a little when Teddy crawled under my desk. It helped me forget that he was a complete a–hole during our walk just an hour before. Also, my hair.
Picked up Persian food from Darband. Good, but I prefer Balboa International Market. I made brownies after dinner, completing our feels-like-we’re-cramming-for-finals-in-college kind of night.
Sunday brunch with fellow bloggers Tammy, Cara-Mia and Lisa. It was a feast.
Finally organized my shoes, which means I finally dusted off all the heels I never wear here — serious dust bunny situation — and stowed them in a very cute Target basket. I’d like to paint the wooden shoe rack, which I got for $3 at a garage sale months ago, but that’s a task for another day.
Writing some snail mail for one of my oldest friends with this Odd Daughter Paper Co. postcard.
Hope you had a good weekend!
The hair is necessary for any cramming for finals feel. Obvi
Much like brownies, the hair is essential.
Girlll I need some goodness from Balboa International Market now.
Thanks, thanks a lot ;)
P.S. It was so nice to spend time with you! Looking forward to the next time
Maybe we should all go there next time? It’s so delicious! I had an awesome time, too. I’ve been missing girl time. Let’s do it again soon!
