You’re so right that hikers can make the trek as easy or hard as they like. And for the first time. this weekend I parked further down N. Torrey Pines Road with the Pay Station parking. 2.5 hours for $3.75 wasn’t too bad, especially since the free parking pre-Reserve was jam-packed.
