I'm SO glad you can relate to this. Honestly, I was thinking I'm a crazy person for getting so overwhelmed. Becoming puppy owner is a lot to take in and nothing prepares you for actually having a furball within your four walls. It was just miserable trying to harness his energy indoors (in a backyard-less apartment, no less) before he got all his shots. Now that he's all set, thank god for the dog park. He gets his energy out, and then he's a calm/snoozy puppy at home :) Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Lovin' your Teddy posts...

I grew up with a golden (who sadly passed away last year at the age of 11) but maaaaaan do I remember his crazy puppy days. I think it's safe to say that goldens are the WORST puppies...but they are also the CUTEST. We named ours Sir Augustus of Beverly...affectionately called "Gus"...and I'm pretty sure my parents threatened to take him back multiple times - of course they were bluffing bc they loved him as much as we did ;-)
